Roofing Service Areas Around Cypress

We take care of roofs for homeowners in Cypress and the cities that border it. First comes a free roof inspection. Then we show you photos from up top and tell you plainly if you need a repair, a new roof or nothing yet.

Cypress and the Towns Next Door

Most of our days are spent a short drive from Cypress. We regularly work on homes in Los Alamitos, La Palma, Buena Park, Stanton and Garden Grove. We head over to Westminster, Cerritos, Artesia, Lakewood and Seal Beach just as often. If your home is close to one of these and you are not sure we cover it, ask on the phone. We will tell you straight.

The work is the same wherever we go. We get on the roof, take photos and walk you through them on the ground. If the damage could be part of an insurance claim, we show you what to document and how the process usually goes. We work directly with your insurance claim. Still, what gets paid for is the adjuster's call, not ours, and you hear that from us on the first visit. We also offer service in English and Spanish. Se habla español.

What We See on Roofs Across the Area

Older homes, older layers
A lot of homes around here went up between the 1950s and the 1970s, and many have been reroofed once or twice since. On those roofs we look for old layers left in place, tired decking and flashing that was reused instead of replaced. Those details change what a repair or a new roof involves, so we point them out before you see a price.
Long, dry summers
Months of strong sun bake asphalt shingles until they curl and shed granules. Tile handles the sun well, but the underlayment beneath it wears out on its own schedule. A cracked or slipped tile lets water reach that layer. So when we inspect a tile roof, we pull up a handful of tiles and check what sits underneath. Guessing from the driveway tells you very little.
Winter rain and wind
Most of the year is dry, so leaks stay hidden until the first real storm. Strong winds can lift shingles and loosen ridge caps. If you find damage after a storm, take dated photos before anything gets moved or patched. We add our own photos from up top so your claim has a clear record.
Permits and HOAs
Each city has its own building department, and a full reroof generally needs a permit and a final inspection. We pull the permit and set up the inspection. If you have an HOA, check whether they need to approve tile color or shingle style. It is easier to sort out before materials are ordered.
