We work on tile roofing, asphalt shingle roofing and flat roofing, and we take on commercial roofing too. If a storm or hail caused the damage, our storm damage repair and hail damage repair pages explain how we document it before any work starts.

Why Homeowners Call Us

Roof damage and claim paperwork can feel like two problems at once. We keep it simple: look, photograph, explain, then fix.

Four decades on roofs

Our owner has 40 years of roofing experience. He has seen how tile, shingle and flat roofs age and fail, and he can usually tell storm damage from plain wear on sight.

Owens Corning Preferred Contractor

We are an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor. When a new shingle roof is the right call, you get products installed the way the maker intends.

Photos you can hand your adjuster

We photograph each problem we find, close up and wide, so you can see where it sits on your roof. You keep the photos. If you file, they help show the adjuster what's there.

Honest about coverage

We are not your adjuster and we won't promise a payout. We'll tell you if what we see looks like sudden damage or normal aging, because that difference matters to most policies. Once you decide to file, we work directly with your insurance claim.

English or Spanish, your choice

What Drives the Cost of Roof Work

Your price comes from what we see on the roof, not a guess made from the street. A small spot repair and a full tear-off cost very different amounts. Here's what moves the number.

Once the inspection is done, you get a free written estimate that breaks the job into separate lines. If your insurer is involved, we can set our numbers next to their scope and go over both with you.

Size and pitch
A bigger roof takes more material and more labor. A steep one slows the crew down, and harnesses and roof jacks must be set before any work starts.
Roofing material
Clay or concrete tile, asphalt shingle and flat roofs each cost differently to repair or replace. Tile repairs often mean lifting good tiles to reach the underlayment, then laying them back.
What's underneath
On older homes, the underlayment and wood deck can be worn out while the surface still looks fine. Rot usually stays out of sight until tear-off, so we explain in advance how new decking would be priced.
Layers to remove
Some homes have a second layer of shingles over the first. Stripping two layers takes more time and fills more of the dumpster.
Flashing, vents and gutters
Chimney and wall flashing, vents and skylights all add detail work. Replacing gutters in the same job costs more but can save a second visit.
Permits
A full replacement usually needs a city permit and inspection. We pull the permit and include the fee in your estimate.

A Roofing Company That Explains Things

Cypress Roofing Experts works on homes in Cypress, CA and the towns around it. Our rule is simple. You should see what's wrong with your roof before anyone asks you to pay to fix it.

A lot of the houses around here were built decades ago, and many are on their second or third roof. We take the time to read what's up there, explain it in everyday words, and let you make the call. If a repair will hold, we say so. If it won't, we show you why.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Something not covered here? (714) 710-1867

Is the roof inspection really free?

It is. We come out, go over your roof and walk you through the photos at no charge. Hiring us afterward is entirely up to you.

Is my roof going to be covered by insurance?

Only your insurance company can say. What we can tell you, with photos to show it, is whether the damage looks sudden, like wind or hail, or like normal aging. Policies usually treat those very differently. If you file, we work with your claim directly and can be on the roof when the adjuster comes.

Will a repair do, or is it time for a new roof?

It comes down to how old the roof is, how widespread the damage is and the condition of the underlayment. A few cracked tiles or a single row of lifted shingles is usually a repair. When the underlayment is brittle and cracking across the roof, patches don't last. We'll show you which one you're dealing with.

Do you offer a warranty?

A qualifying roof can be covered by an Owens Corning manufacturer limited warranty. As we go over your estimate, we'll tell you whether your roof qualifies and what that coverage includes.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes are finished in a few days after the materials arrive. Tile roofs and jobs with bad decking run longer. Rain can push the schedule back, and if it does, we'll let you know.

Can I pay for a new roof over time?

If you qualify, yes. We offer financing through Service Finance Company, subject to credit approval. We'll go over the terms next to your estimate so you can weigh them before deciding.

Do you speak Spanish?

Sí. Se habla español. From the inspection to the estimate to the finished roof, we can work with you in English or Spanish.

See What Your Roof Really Needs
